Dental Hygienists
Tara
Tara has been in the dental industry for almost 20 years, beginning her career as a dental nurse, where she then moved to the UK for a few years. After a few years of working and travelling, she discovered dental hygiene was her passion and graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2009.
Tara’s gentle and friendly nature is reflected through her work as she educates and empowers her patients to take care of their own dental health. Her work is thorough and she is a valuable part of the team at Dental 864.
Each year she furthers her professional development to ensure she’s providing her patients with current information about how to maintain a healthy smile.
Outside of work life, she keeps busy with her 3 young children. She enjoys spending weekends with her family and friends and is always interested in a good coffee.
Katrina
Katrina has worked in the dental industry for almost 20 years, starting as a dental nurse, where her passion for dentistry started. This inspired her to undertake further education, completing her studies in South Australia to become an AHPRA registered Dental Hygienist in 2012.
She likes being part of a team that provides a high level of care, and is extremely devoted to educating patients on their individual needs. Katrina’s gentle and compassionate nature ensure all of her patients feel comfortable and relaxed while receiving treatment. She feels especially accomplished when she can help patients with previous negative memories of dentistry overcome their anxiety, and feel the positive benefits of receiving excellent care.
Having grown up in South Australia and previously living and working in the Pilbara, Katrina is now based in Perth with her husband and young son. In her spare time, she loves exploring WA, enjoying good food, and spending time with her family.
